4 killed in two shootings in US, attacker also shoots himself

Four people were killed in two separate shootings in Houston, USA, on Wednesday (October 8), including the attacker. Police say that preliminary investigations suggest that the two incidents are linked.

A car driver opened fire on another car at around 1 pm in the Houston suburb of Sugar Land. The driver of the other car was seriously injured in the incident and was taken to the hospital. However, the doctor at the hospital declared him dead. However, it is not yet clear whether it was a case of road rage or a fight.

About half an hour after the first incident, a shooting took place at a mechanic’s shop 11 km away. There, the attacker shot the mechanic and a witness. The witness was passing by during the shooting and started recording a video, when the accused also fired at him.

According to police, the description of the attacker and the vehicle were similar in both incidents. A short time later, police found the body in a vehicle about 6 km away. Investigation revealed that the accused who opened fire had committed suicide by shooting himself.
