Amidst hopes of peace in Gaza, war looms on a new front, China deploys dozens of warships

Gaza, which has been facing devastation for two years, now has hope of peace. Earlier this week, Hamas has accepted the first phase of the 20-point plan proposed by US President Donald Trump. Israeli President Benjamin Netanyahu has already expressed his agreement with Trump’s plan. Along with this, the attacks are now calming down in the Gaza Strip and there is a hope of peace there. Along with this, there is also hope of the release of hostages from both sides. But, a picture is also emerging that India’s neighboring country is starting a third world war.

In fact, satellite images have revealed that China has deployed a large number of warships near the mouth of the Yangtze River amid rising tensions with Taiwan. According to a report, there is a rare incident of deployment of Chinese warships and submarines there. This is increasing the fears of war between China and Taiwan. The report said that this is the highest level of tension between these two armies. The fact that China has deployed such a large number of warships may be a sign of an attack on Taiwan.

China’s People’s Liberation Army Navy (PLAN) has continuously increased its military power. China has the world’s largest navy in terms of the number of warships and submarines. China has more than 370 warships and submarines. This includes landing dock ships, helicopter carriers and special landing barges. Analysts say that these barges can attack Taiwan by crossing the strait and sea.

Satellite images from October 6, 2025 show several warships docked at a major maritime logistics hub near the mouth of the Yangtze River in Shanghai. Open-source defense analyst MT Anderson has identified the Type 071 Yuzhao-class landing platform dock (LPD). This is a 25,000-ton transport ship, which is capable of transporting troops, armored vehicles and landing craft to the disputed coast during an attack. It is worth noting that China calls Taiwan its territory and has also said that it will use force if necessary. Currently, the Chinese military is increasing pressure on Taiwan by conducting large-scale military exercises and conducting military aircraft flights over Taiwan almost every day across the sea. Taipei and Washington describe these measures by China as destabilizing.
