Famous Punjabi singer Rajvir Jawanda has passed away. His condition was critical after a serious road accident on September 7 and he was admitted to Fortis Hospital in Mohali. After struggling for life for 11 days, the singer breathed his last today. There were reports of no improvement in his health in the last 10 days. His unexpected death at the young age of just 35 is shocking for the industry and family and his fans are also in mourning.
On ventilator for the last 10 days, no improvement in health
Rajvir was on ventilator for the last 10 days. Doctors had diagnosed that he had a serious problem in his nervous system and there was no improvement in it. He had not regained consciousness for many days and there was no movement in his body. Despite continuous monitoring and medication for 4 hours, oxygen was not reaching the brain, which was extremely worrying for the medical team. The doctors said that they were making all possible medical efforts to stabilize Rajveer’s condition, but despite all efforts to control his heart rate, he could not be saved.
Rajveer Jawanda, a resident of Sector 71, Mohali, was an artist who made his own mark in Punjabi music and cinema. His hit songs include ‘Surname’, ‘Kamla’, ‘Mera Dil’ and ‘Sardari’. His notable works in Punjabi films include films like Jind Jaan, Minde Tasildarni and Kaka Ji.
Jawanda started his musical journey in the year 2014 with ‘Munda Like Me’. His songs reflected Punjabi culture and pride.
