The ongoing dispute between SpaceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk and US President Donald Trump has taken a new turn. Elon Musk has apologized for a post he wrote about Donald Trump on X last week. Elon Musk has written a new post on his X handle today, in which Musk wrote, ‘I regret some of the posts I wrote about US President Donald Trump last week. I escalated the controversy.’ The tension between Elon Musk and US President Donald Trump began when Musk called Trump’s ‘One Big Beautiful Bill’ a disgusting bill on ‘X’. He also warned that Trump’s tariff policy could push America into recession. Musk had posted on ‘X’ supporting Trump’s impeachment. However, he later deleted it. He also mentioned Trump’s alleged old relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, which Trump called an old and wrong issue. US President Donald Trump called Elon Musk’s statements disrespectful to the presidency and said, “I am disappointed in Musk, who has openly criticized the bill and called it inappropriate for the clean energy industry.”
