In Ahmedabad city, demolition action is periodically taken by the Municipal Corporation on illegal settlements and properties. Now a mega demolition was carried out in Juhapura area of Ahmedabad. The demolition action was carried out with tight police security. In which bulldozer action has been started on 292 houses and shops. After the Municipal Corporation’s notice, people immediately vacated the houses. Let us tell you that a few days ago, illegal constructions in Chandola Lake and the surrounding areas in Ahmedabad city were razed to the ground.
Earlier on Thursday, during the demolition drive at Rakhial, a family had illegally constructed a prayer room on a plot and it was demolished. The demolition work was started by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation amidst tight security of over 350 police personnel. As the structures were demolished by bulldozers, a crowd of local residents gathered to watch the demolition.
