Under Operation Shield, mock drills were conducted in 6 states of the country, Jammu and Kashmir, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh on Saturday. Air strike, assault and blackout drills were completed between 5 pm and 9 pm. First of all, a drill on how to deal with the situation in case of airstrike, bomb blast, firing, building fire was completed in many districts of all 6 states. Teams of police, administration, SDRF, fire brigade and volunteers participated in it. During the exercise, exercises were conducted to evacuate people in case of fire in a building, immediately rescue the injured and provide medical assistance, send them to the hospital by ambulance, and control the fire in the buildings. During this, the focus was on providing a quick response without delay.
There was a blackout in these states between 8 and 9 pm. Along with sirens, there was a blackout in many districts for 15 minutes, somewhere for 20 to 25 minutes and somewhere for 30 minutes. During this, police teams kept patrolling. People were alerted.
