Pankaj Dheer, who played the role of Karna in ‘Mahabharat’, passes away : Salman Khan and other actors bid farewell

Actor Pankaj Dheer, who played the memorable role of Karna in the TV serial “Mahabharat”, has passed away at the age of 68. The actor was battling cancer. His death has spread a wave of grief in the film and TV industry. Pankaj Dheer gained fame among the people with his acting in the 80s and 90s. Many famous personalities from the film and TV world, including Salman Khan, were present at the funeral of Pankaj Dheer, who played the role of Karna in “Mahabharat” and bid farewell.

His fellow actors from Mahabharat were also present at the funeral. Deep Dhillon, who played the role of Jayadrath in Mahabharata, Surendra Pal (Dronacharya), Feroz Khan (Arjun), and Shahbaz Khan (Chandrakanta fame) also paid tribute. TV actress Jaya Bhattacharya, actors Mukesh Rishi, B.N. Tiwari and Sushant Singh were also present at the funeral. Apart from this, singers Mika Singh and Sidharth Malhotra were also seen paying their last respects to Pankaj Dhir.

Pankaj Dhir has worked in many films and TV shows during his career. In which he played important roles in Baadshah, Soldier, Sadak and many other popular films. His demise has not only left his family but the entire Bollywood industry in mourning.
