The new boss of the Indian intelligence agency RAW has been found. Parag Jain has been made the new chief of the Research Analysis Wing (RAW). Parag Jain is an IPS officer of the 1889 batch of Punjab cadre. His tenure as RAW chief will be for two years. He will replace Ravi Sinha, whose term ends on June 30. Parag Jain is currently heading the Aviation Research Centre. He is considered an expert on Pakistan matters. The Aviation Research Centre played a key role in gathering intelligence against the Pakistani armed forces during Operation Sindoor. Jain was earlier the SSP of Chandigarh and has also served as the Indian representative in Canada and Sri Lanka. Parag Jain has been posted in Jammu and Kashmir. He has played a key role in the counter-terrorism strategy in the conflict-ridden Union Territory. He will take charge of his post on Monday (June 30).
