The Indian Embassy in the US has issued an important warning to Indian nationals living in the US. The embassy has clarified, in view of the increasing immigration violations by Indians in the US, that 'overstaying in the US is a serious offence which not only risks deportation but may result in a permanent ban on future visits to the US.' The Indian embassy posted on social media platform 'X' warning that, 'If you stay in the US for longer than your authorized period, you may be deported and may even be permanently banned from traveling to the US in the future.'
