Taliban indiscriminate firing on Pakistani soldiers, tension on the border of both countries

The border dispute between Afghanistan and Pakistan has heated up once again. According to reports, Pakistani soldiers were trying to build a fence on the border in Kamdesh district of Nuristan province. These Taliban fighters objected and due to which there was a clash between the two sides.

According to reports, on Thursday (October 2) morning, there was a gunfight between Taliban fighters and Pakistani soldiers in the Doklam area of Narai district of Kunar province of Afghanistan. It is noteworthy that Pakistani soldiers opened fire, accusing the presence of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) in the area. So far, there have been no reports of casualties or damage. The Taliban has not officially commented on the incident.

Tensions on the Afghan-Pakistan border have been increasing continuously in recent months. Pakistan accuses the Taliban of harboring the TTP, while the Taliban accuses Pakistan of firing from across the border. The Taliban denies the presence of the TTP, but according to one report, there are about 6,000 TTP fighters in Afghanistan.

Experts believe that clashes between Pakistani soldiers and Taliban fighters could further strain the already fragile relations between the two countries. Both Afghanistan and Pakistan are currently facing serious security and economic challenges.
