Tensions have once again flared between the armies of Pakistan and Afghanistan on Thursday morning. The two countries exchanged fire on the Barmacha border in Afghanistan. This area is located parallel to Pakistan’s Balochistan. According to local officials, the construction of new posts on the border had sparked a dispute. Due to which firing started between the two countries this morning. However, the firing was stopped after a few hours. But later in the afternoon, tensions increased again. Firing started between the two countries at around 4.30 pm. The Pakistani army has also deployed tanks with the fear of creating a war situation against Afghanistan. The posts built on the Afghan border were shelled and blown up.
Pakistan and the Afghan Taliban have become arch enemies today. Both are celebrating the deaths of each other’s soldiers. The Afghan Taliban army has been attacking Pakistan for some time now. The Taliban-backed TTP has taken over its posts in Pakistan. Apart from hijacking trains in Pakistan by the Taliban, there have been increasing cases of attacks on the army.
