It is extremely hot during this period. The Meteorological Department has issued thunderstorm and rain warnings in 21 states of the country today. In addition, a warning of hailstorm has been issued in Uttarakhand and dust storms and heatwave in Rajasthan. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for wind gusting to 40-50 kmph, heavy rain and lightning in 12 districts of the state on May 27 and 28.
