According to the recent changes made by the Trump government, illegal immigrants have been fined for residing in the US despite the deportation order. A Trump administration official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said that the Immigration Authority has sent notices imposing penalties on people residing illegally. The response to this notice will have to be given within 30 days. In which a written statement will have to be submitted pledging to implement the deportation order. In some cases, valid reasons for not imposing the penalty will have to be presented along with evidence.
