The US and Saudi Arabia have signed a $142 billion (Rs 12.1 lakh crore) defense deal. The White House has called it the largest defense deal in history.
Under this agreement, Saudi Arabia will be provided with C-130 transport aircraft, missiles, radar systems and many advanced weapons. These will come from American companies such as Lockheed Martin, Boeing and Northrop Grumman.
According to the White House, under this deal, the US will provide weapons and technical assistance to Saudi Arabia in 5 areas.
US President Trump, who visited Saudi Arabia, has praised Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. Trump said about the Crown Prince- I really think we like each other a lot.
Trump said that he knows Mohammed bin Salman very well and is very impressed with him. Salman is much smarter than his age.
The US President said that before his visit, there was talk of many checks and 2 million jobs in the country. Praising Saudi investment in America, he said that it will create a lot of jobs.
