WhatsApp is currently working on a new feature like Telegram. Currently, if a WhatsApp account is deleted or logged out, then the data is saved. However, now WhatsApp is working on a feature based on which the user will be able to log out and the data will not be saved. Just like how one can log in and log out on social media, now the user will also be able to log out of WhatsApp. This will also be possible for users who want to change accounts frequently. WhatsApp is currently working on this feature. The first hints of this feature have been seen in WhatsApp’s Android beta version 2.25.17.37. Currently, this feature is under development and is undergoing internal testing. The option to log out will be found in the Settings > Account section. Currently, this feature is not available to general users, but beta version users can try it out.
This feature will work similar to apps like Telegram and Signal. In both Telegram and Signal, users can log in and out as they choose. This temporary signout method is common in social media accounts. This is especially useful for business users who want to switch between personal and professional accounts.
