Zelensky proposes to create air defense system with Europe to counter Russia

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has called for the creation of a unified air defense system with Europe in view of the threat of Russian air attacks. In this regard, Zelensky addressed an online security forum organized in Warsaw, Poland. Referring to the recent Russian incursions into the airspace of Poland and other European countries, he proposed to create a joint and very reliable force in view of a possible Russian air attack.

Zelensky said that Ukraine can counter all types of Russian drones and missiles, for this everyone needs to work together. If we all come together, the production capacity of weapons for the air defense system will increase in sufficient quantities. It is worth mentioning here that several peace proposals have been made earlier to prevent the war between Russia and Ukraine, but they could not be implemented on the ground.

Russia, in particular, is not willing to give up the territories it has conquered. Zelensky wants a permanent and sustainable peace only if Russian forces withdraw from Ukraine and return to their borders. US President Donald Trump has also tried to prevent the Russia-Ukraine conflict, but without success.
